Here at Betz Works, our mission is to provide our customers with beautiful, safe, durable driveways and paved surfaces. Whether you’re installing a new driveway or repairing an old one, our skilled teams and industry-leading equipment will work with you to bring your vision to life.
An expert in all things asphalt, we seal, grade, repair, and maintain asphalt driveways, parking lots, and more. Because we strive to be a one-stop shop for our customers, we also offer underground utility services, including installing and repairing sewer or water lines, adding or improving storm drainage, and installing new water service.

Betz Works was started as Betz Paving by the current owner’s grandfather Fred Betz jr. back in 1958.
In 2001, Betz Paving became Betz Construction, owned and managed by the current owner’s father Roger Betz.
Allan Betz, the current owner of Betz Works, worked as an employee at Betz Construction until the death of Roger Betz in 2009.
In 2023 the owners of Earthworks Paving Contractors Ric & Stephanie Straus retired and closed their doors, and Betz Works opened. Ric and Stephanie’s support from the very start has helped make Betz Works possible.
The Betz name has been a leader in the paving industry since 1958, and Allan Betz has played a large part in making it a household name.
Allan’s work experience includes Earthworks Paving, Betz Paving, and Betz Construction. He has been in the paving business since he was 14 years old. Today, he runs Betz Works along with his wife Amanda and son Luke.
Allan holds a General Engineer Contractor’s License (license number 1098361). He’s also a PG&E Certified Contractor and Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) contractor.
